WELCA Women’s Group Preamble – As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, society, and world.
The Faith Lutheran Chapter of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (WELCA) is dedicated to mission projects within our church, community, and world. We organize events such as:
- The Ode to Spring Community Brunch
- The Fall Festival Community Supper and Auction
- Prayer Shawl ministry for those needing comfort within our community
- School Backpack project for students in our community
- Mission quilts the Lutheran World Relief
The 2018 WELCA officers are:

Our Dorcas circle meets the 2nd Monday of the month and Mission work on the 4th Tuesday of the month at the church. If you would like to join one of our circle meetings or our monthly Mission Project day, please contact the church office for specific times.
